A native son of New York, EQUIS characterizes his sound as an enduring clash of past and present. Whether in his original music or within his DJ sets, he considers himself genre-less: his sound encompasses elements of electronic, hip-hop, funk, rock, and more.

 

He began his career as a DJ at the age of 14, with numerous gigs on NYC's nightclub circuit by 16. Since then, EQUIS has performed at over a hundred different venues across the northeast alongside acts such as The Chainsmokers, French Montana, and Borgore.

As a producer and artist, EQUIS' music has been featured by numerous media outlets/corporate entities such as Netflix, HBO Max, The MLB Network, The PGA Tour, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
